This was one of those wedding days where, as a photographer, I wanted to spend the entire day pinching myself. Everything fell together just the way it should: the breathtaking ceremony location, the moody skies during portraits, and the classic reception in my favorite ballroom in Detroit (the Detroit Yacht Club). The entire day was infused with an old school glamour inspired by Peter’s work in the film industry, and their mutual love of an era of hollywood long since past. Most importantly, I had an amazing couple, Natalie and Peter, who treated me like family, were willing to brave the cold and the wind, and more than anything wanted genuine moments in their wedding photographs.
