Being with Natalie and Jonathan on their wedding day, something was made instantly clear to me: These two are so loved by their friends a family. When you spend a little time with them, its absolutely clear why. They’re amazing, genuine, good, and nice people.
I have to say a little about all the things I loved about this wedding day. I loved that while the guys and girls were getting ready, both rooms have the University of Michigan game on (even though it didn’t end so well for our mutual alma mater that day). I loved that Natalie arranged for a bagpiper to surprise her guests during her processional (and drive many of them, including myself, to teary eyes). I also love that said bagpiper played the Michigan fight song when they exited the church (I mean, really, what alumni couldn’t love that). In addition to these awesome details, you should know that Natalie made both of her veils (you can see her awesome line of bridal accessories here) and that Jonathan attended law school at Michigan and some of the pictures from the law quad are in front of the door that lead to his dorm during his time there. Lastly, Natalie and I both share an affection for the late 50s and early 60s and I loved how that influenced the day (especially in the adorable cake topper). Anyways, I could ramble on about everything I loved about this wedding, but instead, I’ll just let you take a look for yourselves.
Oh wow, this is such a gorgeous wedding and couple and everything!! The black & white bridal party formal is absolutely stunning. So awesome.
SUPERB. (I hope this doesn’t get caught by the spam filter so I’ll add extra text)
Thank you for capturing all of the special moments of our wedding day!! I couldn’t be happier with your work and it was a pleasure spending the day with you. You are truly gifted and I LOVE our wedding photos!! I keep looking at them over and over again…
absolutely wonderful. The reception photos are outta this world! Beautiful couple
You just.. wow, you blow my mind, Heather. Masterful work, masterful editing, and that super sweet personality we all love. Bravo!! (BTW, although I could rave for hours about the gorgeous library shots, the amazing detail work, and the perfect PJ style here, I feel that I would be remiss if I didn’t comment on that first bridal party photograph, the black and white. I know how hard it is to make a bridal party shot truly interesting versus a police lineup style. I adore the shot you took and how carefully you layered the lines and directed the layout. It feels natural and comfortable, but it is truly striking and I must admit I had to spend a moment taking it in. Gorgeous, gorgeous work.)
this is fantastic Heather! the group portraits are fantastic, so much emotion, and those library portraits . . . wow. and the details are gorgeous! love it.
Wow! What an amazingly enthralling set. The library shot and the one of guests holding up scores of 10 are especially wonderful. You’ve done a really remarkable job of producing some timeless work for a very, very fortunate couple!
#1. I love the shot of the bottom of the bride getting out of the car. #2. Love that B&W bridal party group shot -it’s brilliant. #3. The library shot is spectacular. Heather, this is your best work, in my opinion. Nice going, sistah. You killed it!
I’m in love with this couple’s style! Great coverage Heather! They’ll surely love these 🙂
This is a fantastic set of pictures Heather, you should be really proud of these! Natalie and Jonathon must be very happy

Wow Heather! This whole wedding is simply stunning! I don’t have enough exclamation marks!!!!!!!!!!!
Stunning from start to finish -the way you captured the details while still giving them life, the great expressions and movement – this looks like an amazingly elegant and fun wedding.
Can I just say that the bride actually looks like a princess. Amazing details in this wedding, I love the ring shot with the macaroons and the library shot in particular. Great work!
Great job Heather!
