“Is this what all Jersey dance floors are like?”
I remember asking Mike’s best man that shortly after the dance floor opened. I’m used to a Michigan dance floor that takes a little while to get warmed up. Michigan wedding guests need to be wined and dined a little before they’re willing to get out on the dance floor and shake what their mama gave them. With about half of these wedding guests hailing from New Jersey, I realized that’s not true across all 50 of these states. Jersey wedding guests don’t mess around.
Ashley and Mike definitely were excited to get married. Mike is the first groom I’ve ever had drop an F-bomb during a first look, that’s how excited he was, and to be fair, Ashely did look fucking awesome. That excitement was definitely contagious and I had an amazing time shooting this wedding.
A huge shout out to Rebecca from Ideal Events & Design for making the Pantlind Ballroom look absolutely stunning. I’ve shot a few weddings at the Amway Grand Hotel and I’m always amazed by how stunning the space is.
