Class of 2011 procrastinators, if you’re anything like I was in high school, you like to put things off until the last minute like writing papers, doing homework, and, of course, the dreaded senior portrait session. We all have seen them. The annoying cookie cutter senior photos in some studio on some wall painted to look like an english garden (but it’s not fooling anyone). Well, fear not, there is a cure for the common Senior Portrait.
If you ask me, graduating from high school is a big deal. You’ve sat through 17 years of lectures, multiple choice tests, and book reports. It’s an awesome accomplishment and awesome senior portraits should accompany it. A Heather J. senior portrait isn’t your typical senior portrait. To me, a portrait shouldn’t be cookie cutter, because the seniors I’m lucky enough to photograph aren’t cookie cutter.
A senior session with me lasts about 2 hours. Before your session, I’ll make every effort to get a feel for you and what you’re like that way we can take photos that capture you at your best. A typical session yields anywhere from 20-40 digital negatives, which will be delivered to you on a high-resolution disc with full printing rights.
Class of 2011 Creative Session Fee: $350.00
Creative Session Fee includes
– A pre session interview to discuss your expectations and plan your session.
– Your make up done by a pro {sorry fellas, girls only on this}
– 2 hours of shooting time, up to three locations, and my digital darkroom time to edit your images.
– High Resolution digital negatives.
– A private on-line gallery of your proofed images for personal viewing and sharing with family and friends.
Here are some of the seniors I’ve had the pleasure of photographing over the last few years.
