Banger? Isn’t that what the cool kids are calling an awesome party these days?
I’ve been holding onto this one for an embarrassingly long time, considering it was one of my first weddings of 2015. You see, this wedding was special for me. For one, KayLyn is one of the first people I met when I first moved to Michigan 10 years ago. Gosh, has it really been that long?
The other reason it was special, my husband was by my side. At the beginning of this season, Mikey started showing an interest in wanting to take his video skills to the next level and start shooting a few weddings. I reached out to some couples about having him along, and Kay & Jeff were the very first people to say yes and this, his very first guinea pigs. Mike is officially booking for 2016, and if you want to find out more about what he’s been up to, you can head to clarkmotionpictureco.com. I couldn’t be more proud of what he created that day, so I’m actually starting this post with his video, rather than my photographs.
And now for the still portion of the day. (Sidebar: Love KayLynn’s bouquet? WELL I MADE IT!)
