I’m slowly making my way through every gilded venue in Detroit. The Detroit Athletic Club has been a place on my list for a while, but it was just one of those venues that always alluded me. Inquiry after inquiry to have me photograph there would come across my inbox and I wouldn’t be available, until John and Zana came along.

This was one of my first weddings of the 2017 season, just to give you a clear idea of how woefully behind on my blogging I am, but luckily I think there’s a timelessness to this venue and this wedding day, so what difference does it make if I’m sharing it 6 months or 6 years after the fact.

Things are starting to slow down finally so now seems as good a time as any to get back into the swing of sharing my work. Here’s John and Zana in my most elusive venue in Detroit.
